We are saddened to report that Purdey was taken from us in July. We awoke to her vomiting and clearly very unwell. She was rushed to the vet where she stayed all day but by evening it was apparent she was in a bad way and we said farewell at 7 pm before she went in for emergency surgery. She was found to have a perforated intestine which had leaked into the body cavity and due to the location and infection present we were advised that the kindest thing to do would be not bring her round. We loved this crazy old dog more than words can say and blessed that she came to live with us. she had only just had her 11th birthday and she had been barking madly right up to the end. Bye bye sweetheart xx
I was raised with dogs always about the house. Cairn terrier, German shepherds, Belgian shepherd, Bull mastifffs, Dachunds, min poodles. As soon as I could - the search was on! What bred would suit me? Then I saw a shaggy dog - the rest is history!
